WINNER OF STERLING WORLD FEATURE AWARD AT SILVER DOC
THE WOMAN WITH THE 5 ELEPHANTS wins this year’s Grand Jury Award in the Sterling World Feature Competition at the Silver Docs Documentary Film Festival in Silver Springs/Washington DC.

SPECIAL PROJECTION IN GENEVA
In collaboration with the festival Visions du Réel we will screen "The Woman with the 5 Elephants", 19 May 2010, 19h at Cinéma Pathé Rialto. The projection will follow a discussion with Jean Perret (director of the festival 1995-2010), Vadim Jendreyko (director) and a translator of l’Ecole de traduction et d’interprétation (ETI)

"The Woman with the 5 Elephants" has been selected for the German Competition of the international film festival DOK Leipzig. The film has been shown as german premiere on October 30, 2009 at 8 pm and on October 31 at 4.30 pm at the cinema CineStar 7. The film won the DEFA Sponsoring Prize "for an outstanding German documentary film".

"The Woman with the 5 Elephants" will be shown on August 11, 2009 at 11 am in the La Sala cinema and on August 12, 2009 at 10 pm in the Ralto 1 cinema at the International Film Festival in Locarno in the section Appellations Suisse.

Visions du Réel, Nyon 2009
The Film had its Swiss Premiere on April, 26, 2009 at the international documentary Film Festival Visions du Réel in Nyon, Switzerland. The film won the Prix Spécial SRG SSR idée suisse of the international Jury, as well as the Prix SSA/Suissimageas the best Swiss Film. Furthermore, "The Woman with the 5 Elephants" received a special mention from the interreligious jury.
